When she was 11 years old, Marcus's mother underwent face surgery, known as Face Lifting. While she was recovering, she was visited by her nephew, Marcus's cousin, who made a joke, “her aunt was 50 and now she's going to be 35.”
The cousin's comment, which for many would have gone unnoticed, remained in the head of Marcus, who was still a child. Curious about the subject, he wondered, how interesting it would be to be able to make a person return to youth. Since then, he has become interested in plastic surgery and began to think about his future career. He studied medicine, with the certainty of becoming a specialist in plastic surgery, not interested in any other area during the course.
In 2002, he graduated in Medicine and in 2009 he completed his specialization in Plastic Surgery, inaugurating the Marcus Thomé Institute on August 20 of the same year.
With continuous training and experience in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Marcus Thomé, is a professional with broad academic knowledge and training in national and international courses that are reference in the area.

He holds a medical degree in General Surgery at the Angelina Caron Hospital in Paraná and also a medical residency in Plastic Surgery at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Santos / SP.
At the international level, in search of technical improvement, he held a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine at the Javier de Benito Institute, in the city of Barcelona, Spain. He is also a specialist in Plastic Surgery by CNRM / MEC and AMB / SBCP, having gained the position of titular member Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, (SBCP).
He also holds a Master's degree in Surgical Clinic from the Pontifical Universidade Católica do Paraná, PUC / PR.
With all necessary qualification, Dr. Marcus Thomé is a full member of the Brazilian Society
of Plastic Surgery, SBPC and internationally is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), all to act with the highest level of excellence.

In addition to the constant improvements within his area, Dr. Marcus Thomé, believes it is important to keep the health of the body and mind in constant growth. In his daily life, he practices physical activities such as gym accompanied by personal trainer and crossfit, in recent years discovered snowboarding as his favorite sport.
